Renovations at Hamilton Convention Centre

We're excited to officially announce the upcoming renovation of the Hamilton Convention Centre by Carmen’s! It’s an honour for Yellowbird to be leading the design of this iconic Hamilton venue alongside an incredible team of consultants: JJAA Inc, BDN Construction, BIND Architecture, and Lazier Engineering.

As GM Vince Bozzo said at Friday’s press conference, “If these walls could talk...” — a powerful reminder of how meaningful it is to shape a space that welcomes people from all walks of life.

Exactly one year ago, we shared our initial design vision with the team — and now, construction begins. Our design will celebrate natural light, enhance guest experiences, and breathe new life into underutilized spaces, all while remaining timeless.
